Undergraduate Research Poster Forum Competition

IEEE System-On-Chip Conference (SoCC) 2025 is excited to announce the undergraduate research Poster Competition. Undergraduate students are invited to submit abstract of their research outlining their ideas, research methods, performance, and significance of their results. Other researchers and professionals are, also, invited to submit. Finalists will show case their cutting-edge results in a dedicated poster session.

Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges. These finalists will be invited to present in person during the conference, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with leading experts and peers. Presenters will receive a full waiver of registration fees.

Suggested Tracks

Participants are invited to submit posters in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  1. SoC Design Methodologies & Architectures

  2. Hardware-Software Co-Design

  3. AI & Machine Learning Accelerators

  4. Low-Power and Energy-Efficient Design

  5. Secure and Trusted SoC Designs

  6. Emerging Technologies (Quantum, Neuromorphic, etc.)

  7. EDA Tools and Design Automation

  8. 3D/2.5D Integration and Packaging

  9. IoT and Edge Computing SoCs

  10. Applications in Automotive, Healthcare, and Aerospace

📋 Submission Guidelines

·         Poster Abstract: Max 300 words (clearly outlining the contribution, results, and novelty)

·         Poster Dimensions: A1 vertical (594mm x 841mm)

·         Presentation Date: During the conference on a designated poster session day (TBD)


 Poster submissions should include:

  • A one-page extended abstract (PDF)

  • Title and list of authors

  • A preliminary version of the poster (optional but encouraged)

Submitted posters will be peer-reviewed based on the following:

  • Relevance to SoCC Themes

  • Technical Innovation and Originality

  • Clarity of Presentation and Visual Design

  • Potential Impact and Practical Application

  • Overall Contribution to the SoC Community
