For citizens of certain countries a visa is required to enter Germany.
To determine if you need a visa and learn how to obtain it we recommend visiting the German foreign affairs site for advice:

If you need a visa you may also require an official invitation letter. This letter is generated through EDAS, but only for authors or presenters who have registered and paid for the conference.
Authors may go to their paper page, define the presenting author, and generate a customized visa letter for each of their papers. The visa letter is returned to the author as a PDF file for download. The visa letter is not emailed to authors.

Plan ahead - apply for you visa early.
Depending on your country and citizenship, visa processing may take several weeks. If you need a visa, register for the conference as early as possible and pay your conference fees along with your registration. We will not accept any visa delays or denied visa as an excuse for no-shows!
